Online IT Courses – Why They Work Faster

Online IT courses - why they work faster

When you realise (or are told) that you need some IT training then you’re already behind the curve and need to play catch up.  Many people just don’t think about online learning but this is an excellent option if you’re short of time and need to update your skills.  Online IT courses are effective, easy to use and you can learn fast. Here’s some reasons why:

1 No ice-breaker games and information on how to get out of the building if it’s on fire. And you already know where the toilets are.

2. You can drill down to exactly what you want to learn. Why spend a day doing an excel course if you only need to learn how pivot tables work? You could find you’ve just saved yourself 6 hours. That leaves the rest of the day to do some real world practie by creating the tables that you need. In other words you’re productive in your day job faster too.

3. You can eat your lunch at your computer if you want to and keep on learning. No one-hour lunchbreak required on this course.

4. When you realise you need something who doesn’t like NOW? Do you want to wait for a training course? Or do you need to wait because you have a full diary. Online IT courses are ready when you are.

5. How many times have you learned something and forgotten it? Most Online IT courses are available for 12 months so that you can top up or refresh your learning anytime. Unless you’re very rich you won’t get an IT Trainer to follow you around all day, every day (anyway that would get annoying!)

6. You can learn when you’re most alert and receptive. For me that’s first thing in the morning but it could be the middle of the night for you. Learning at the best time for you means you’ll take it in better, and learn faster

7. You can check your understanding straight away and go over any areas that you didn’t quite get. Often when you’re on a course you think you’ve understood something only to find it doesn’t work for you when you try it back at the ranch. e-learning lets you apply your new skills straight away. And go back to your training anytime as a reminder.

Not bad for something thats often a fraction of the price of a traditional classroom course.
